Sattal means “resting place” but this traditional structure will also be home to lively ceremonies, cultural presentations, dances and special dinners. You’ll be remembered whenever it’s in use!

Become A Didi or Dai
In Nepali, “didi” means big sister, and “dai” big brother. As a didi or dai to a child at AmaGhar, your $1,000 a year pledge will help provide a loving family home, education and opportunities that can change a child’s life forever. As we want every child at AmaGhar to feel honored and supported, we do not reveal supporters to our children. However, if you are interested in receiving information about a particular child, we would be happy to send you an annual update. We will also provide you with a copy of Matt Heffelfinger’s award winning documentary “The Children of AmaGhar”, so that you can share your experience with friends and family.
